Empowering families through Education

Access to a formal education can be life changing for vulnerable children growing up in Kitale Kenya. Most children in our community are unable to receive an education due to the poverty families endure. Our dream is to see every child in our community given the opportunity to know that God has given them a hope and a future by giving them access to a formal education..


Zoe City Lights School serves the community of Kitale Kenya including families that live in the local slum of Kipsongo. We offer a safe place for children to learn grow, and step into their full potential.

Experiencing Joy in the Midst of Struggle

For many of the children that attend Zoe City Lights School, their days often include the struggle to find food and other basic needs to sustain life. Our school creates a safe place for kids to be kids, receive a daily meal, and a place to experience joy as they play and learn. Our dream is to open a boarding school where children can live and learn, safe from the dangers of living on the streets.

Hope For a Sustainable Future

We want to create a sustainable model of support our community. One of our big dreams is to purchase land for agricultural purposes. Five acres of land can both feed our school children, it can also then be used as an income source which will help us pay teachers, purchase stationary, and develop our ministry with sustainable self sufficiency as our goal.

Support for Communities in Need

Our local community experiences incredible hardship due to material poverty. We organize and distribute food and medicine to hundreds of families as often as we can. Many of these families we support have children that attend our school. We have a holistic approach caring for the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of our community.
