Our Dream of a Sustainable Future
At Zoe City Light School in Kitale, Kenya, we hold a visionary dream of establishing sustainable agriculture to enhance our self-sufficiency and empower the school's growth. Our aspiration is to procure two acres of land dedicated to cultivating crops that will not only provide nutritious food for the children but also serve as a sustainable source of income.
In this dream, the harvested produce will contribute to feeding the students, ensuring they have access to wholesome meals for their overall well-being. Simultaneously, the surplus yield will be utilized as a means to generate income, supporting essential elements of the school's operation, including teacher salaries and acquiring stationary.
This sustainable agriculture initiative reflects our commitment to long-term resilience and self-reliance, creating a foundation for the school's continued success. Through this dream, we seek to foster an environment where both the students and the ministry to others can flourish, promoting a holistic approach to education and community development.
